Anyone can get involved with Adoption UK’s work and make a difference to adopted children and their families – whilst having a great time too. There are hundreds of ways to get involved, whether as an individual, with friends or as part of a company or business, including organising or taking part in events, street collections or sponsorship.
As a charity with limited funding, Adoption UK relies heavily on active and regular fundraising by our members and other interested parties to maintain and expand our work helping adopted children and their families.
We are grateful for your support and would like to remind you that every penny can make a real difference to the levels of help and support that we can offer adopted families, before, during and after adoption.

- Spring Appeal
- Adoption UK has launched its first charity appeal. Adoption UK does not receive central government funding and your donations make a real difference, enabling us to provide support to more families and campaign for changes in the way government supports adoptive families.
- Community Support
- Community support plays a very important role within the charitable sector have a look at our list of ideas to see how you think you might be able to help. Adoption UK provide practical support to adoptive families struggling to parent neglected and abused children adopted from the care system, without donations from individuals, groups, schools and companies this would not be possible.
- Corporate Fundraising
- Whether you want to lay on coffee and cakes for your colleagues or employees, climb a mountain or you have a gift that we could use to support our work, there are loads of things you and your business can do to help us support more adoptive families.
- Recycle 4 Charity

- Legacies - making a lasting gift
- 80 per cent of us will give to charity during our lifetime, but only five per cent will remember a charity in our will. This page explains how you can make a lasting gift to support Adoption UK.
